Adult learners come to class focused on learning the material because they are confident that this is what they want to do as a career. However, they may lack the confidence that they will keep up with the learning environment as technology advances.

Fostering intrinsic motivation in both learner and educator involves creating an environment that promotes learning that open, clear, purposeful, and correlated to individual growth. Embracing individualism, quality feedback, and learning or development opportunities helps reinforce intrinsic motivation. I can apply this by fostering a culture of collaboration while aligning both my personal and professional goals with school standards.

Intrinsic needs are those that arise from within an individual, stemming from internal desires and motivations, rather than external rewards or pressures.

REFOCUS is a great way to evaluate yourself and get out of a slump.

Be creative and fun to create a learning environment in which your students want to be in.
